Checks / Links, canonical and speed
Canonical points to a noindex page
The page names a URL as the real one, but that URL tells search engines not to index it, so neither page can be indexed.
canonical_noindex · Links, canonical and speed · Warning
What triggers it
The address a page's canonical link points to answers 200 but is itself noindex.
What to change
Point the canonical at an indexable URL, usually the page itself, or remove the noindex from the target.
Example
HTML to put in the page:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/shoes/blue-trail">
How to confirm the fix

- Run a new crawl
