Checks / Answerability
No comparison or alternatives page
'X vs Y' and 'alternatives to X' are the questions assistants answer most.
no_comparison_page · Answerability · Notice
What triggers it
On a finished crawl, no page address or title looks like a comparison or alternatives page, and a direct request to the usual addresses (/compare, /alternatives, /vs and local equivalents) finds none. Not judged for local businesses.
What to change
Add an honest comparison page.
How to confirm the fix
- Open https://example.com/compare (or /alternatives): it compares you with named alternatives and says where each one fits
- Run a new crawl: a page whose address or title says comparison or alternatives is found
How common it is
We have not measured how common this is on a sample of sites. Counts appear here when a study covers it.
