Thin content
Under 100 words of main text: nothing for an assistant to quote.
thin_content · Content and readability · Warning
What triggers it
An indexable page has fewer than 100 words of text and is not a contact, legal, terms or privacy page. A page flagged as empty without JavaScript is not also flagged here.
What to change
Add a clear answer: who it is for, what it is, price, how it works.
How to confirm the fix
- Select the page's own text (menus and footer left out) and count the words: at least 100
- Re-check that page in the report: the finding is gone
How common it is
We have not measured how common this is on a sample of sites. Counts appear here when a study covers it.
