Article schema without author or date
Google lists author and datePublished as recommended Article properties. With them an assistant can say who wrote the page and when.
schema_article_props · Titles, headings and schema · Notice
What triggers it
A page's Article markup lacks an author or a datePublished. An author already flagged as anonymous is not flagged again.
What to change
Add author (a Person or Organization with a name) and datePublished (ISO 8601, for example 2026-10-24) to the Article JSON-LD.
Example
HTML to put in the page:
<script type="application/ld+json">
{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"Article","headline":"How to choose trail shoes","datePublished":"2026-10-01","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Jane Doe"}}
</script>
How to confirm the fix
- Paste the URL into validator.schema.org: the Article shows author and datePublished
- Press 'Re-check 1 page'
