Free llms.txt generator

How the draft is built
- Title and summary: your home page's title and meta description.
- Pages: the links on your home page first, then your sitemap if the home page lists few. We open up to 16 and keep up to 10.
- Each line: the page's own title and meta description, shortened to 140 characters. We do not rewrite your words.
- Left out: pages robots.txt keeps OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot from, pages marked noindex, pages that do not load, and log-in, cart and search pages.
What to do with the draft
Read it before you publish it. The notes are the descriptions your pages already carry, so a page with a weak description gets a weak line. Edit the draft, save it as a plain text file named llms.txt, then run the llms.txt checker. No major assistant has confirmed that it reads the file, so publishing it does not promise citations.
Where the file goes
At the root of your site: https://yourshop.com/llms.txt, served as text. A file on a subpath, or an address that returns a web page, does not count.

What is an llms.txt generator?
It writes a first llms.txt for you: a plain text file with your site's name, a one-line summary and a list of links to your most useful pages, each with a short note. This one builds the file from your own page titles and descriptions, so you only edit it.
Will an llms.txt make ChatGPT or Perplexity cite my site?
There is no promise. No major assistant has confirmed that it reads the file. It costs little to publish and it makes you decide which pages matter. Whether the crawlers can reach your pages at all matters more, and the AI-crawler access checker shows that.
Do I need an account or to pay?
No. Type a domain and read the result on the page.
What if my site already has an llms.txt?
The result says so. The draft is built fresh from the pages your site lists now, so compare the two, or run the llms.txt checker on the file you have.
Which pages does the draft leave out?
Pages that robots.txt keeps the AI search crawlers from, pages marked noindex, pages that do not load, and log-in, cart and search pages. Listing a page you block would send mixed signals.
